220x
I have noticed that 10 bit video responds to CC better especially whare there is a lot subtle gradation and ofcourse if your final material is intended for big screen projection there will be advantages in nixing down to 220 or 220x.
220x
3sixteen's iconic Type 3s Denim Jacket has been revamped with a new fit in the DJ-220x. Using the same Kuroki Mills Double Black Selvedge fabric that produces stunning white/gray fades over time, but now with a modified fit with lengthened sleeves, a slimmer bottom waist opening, and overall shorter body length. This midweight fabric is rigid at first, but quickly softens over time as you wear it in.
The ST-220x is the Slim Tapered fit of 3sixteen's 14.5 oz double black selvedge denim from Kuroki Mills in Okayama, Japan. With a medium rise, slim thighs tapering to a small leg opening, this is form-fitting slim fit. The double black denim features a custom black warp and black weft fabric that fades to a grey in high wear areas.
I don't actually have 220x, but here are some basics. Any Minolta x-flash unit should automatically set your X-700 (or any X, XD and XG camera) to flash sync speed (1/60s in case of your X-700) and manual exposure mode.
As far as I know, the 220x is an autoflash, but not capable of TTL flash metering. In a nutshell, a TTL flash uses the light meter of the camera, an auto flash uses it's own built-in light sensor, but both are capable of achieving the correct exposure automatically. Of all Minolta manual focus cameras, only the X-700/600/570/500 support TTL flash, so it is kinda nice to use an appropriate TTL flash with these cameras, but in praxis an auto flash is almost always just as good.
The 220x is probably also capable of manual flash. With manual flashes the flash strength can not be altered automatically. The correct exposure is achieved by setting the lens aperture to the correct value, depending on film speed and distance of the object to the camera. You need to calculate what this aperture is, and a table on the back of the flash unit usually helps you to do this.
The 220x fabric is a double black denim with black warp threads and black weft threads. This black denim is initially more resistant to fading, but over time will eventually develop grey to white fade patterns.
Hi everybody,It should nice to introduce the DNxHD codec who is present in FFmpeg. This codec have been created by Avid leader in the professional Video Editor who have open the specification of this codec.Fortunately, FFmpeg (yet) have introduce it. This codec is interresting for the heavy file in HD and when we will create the Conversion tool it must be in the first place. I advice now for keep the best quality but for the weak configuration to use it. Only, two tools in the Linux World use it : Kdenlive and EKD in this experimental version. The only weakness is the ..........size of the file ; you must have a lot of place, because there is almost none compression. Here too i put the link of Avid where they explain their format but If you look at the page 7 of this PDF you have a table with all the parameters. The link of this PDF is here : Don't worry same if the link is French not the PDF.Just one remarque, on Linux FFmpeg don't take/work the specification in x i.e. Avid DNxHD 220x (no) but Avid DNxHD 220 and Avid DNxHD 145 yes.Thanks.
